Hunting around for the set top box, TV and DVD players’ remote controls could be a thing of the past, with the launch of the Harmony 300i Universal Remote from Logitech.
No longer will there be the need for several remotes as the Harmony 300i replaces up to four remotes in one go and how this is done will take universal remotes to another level.
Unlike universal remotes of the past, which had to be programmed by the user, the Harmony 300i uses an online library that covers almost 225,000 remote controllers from five thousand different brands.
According to the company, people have been disappointed with the performance of the universal remote control in the past and the Harmony 300i will change all of that when it goes on sale in the UK during April at price of £29.99.
