Shanghai Telecom Collaborating with Siemens to Provide IPTV Services in China – December 21, 2005

Chinese broadband operator Shanghai Telecom Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Media Group (SMG) will be collaborating with Siemens to offer Internet protocol television (IPTV) services to a national market that now includes about 25 million broadband users and 360 million television viewers, announced the Siemens Communications Group at a press conference held today in Shanghai, China.
