UITStor announces its new UEBO consumer electronics line has partnered with PlayOn, a service from Internet TV service provider MediaMall Technologies. The partnership will bring a number of Internet TV channels and video content services to the TVs of UEBO customers via a simple, convenient TV remote control interface.

With the UEBO M200 Media Player, available summer 2010, consumers can play nearly every popular media file format via their TVs and HDTVs with no time-consuming transcoding needed. In addition to allowing you to play and view all of your audio, digital and video files, the media player provides easy access to Internet content including real-time weather, news, Picasa and Flickr content as well as Internet radio stations via Shoutcast. The device even provides PC-Less BitTorrent downloading capabilities to avoid having to leave your PC on or having your PC infested with viruses that sometimes come with the downloaded file. A network-attached storage functionality allows for sharing of content over home networks.
