Provo Utah, sells Fiber-Optic Network to Broadweave

The Mayor of US city, Provo, Utah, Lewis K. Billings has sold the city’s fiber-optic system to local commercial service provider Broadweave Networks.
Mayor Billings announced the privatization of the system, known as iProvo, during his annual budget speech.

SingTel has launched its new IPTV service, called ‘mio TV’, in the city-state, offering an initial 33 channelsJuly 23, 2007

Subscribers can choose any channel for a minimum monthly fee of S$15 (US$9.90), excluding taxes. Prices start from S$3.21 (US$2.10) per month for the Zee Music channel, ranging up to S$12.84 (US$8.50) per month for high-definition channels.

IPTV Optical Access

Using the Trident7 Optical Access Platform from Wave7 OpticsOctober 30, 2006

Wave7 Optics Inc. today announced that the City of Auburn, Ind. has selected the Trident7™ Optical Access Platform for a new municipal FTTP network. Construction will begin this month, with first priority given to connecting the school system.
