Joost are about to relaunch (again). This time it seems they’ve taken another step into the mainstreaming by dropping downloads and changing to Flash video, it’s all a far cry from the Venice Project and shows just how difficult it is to build an audience for an aggregated video service in the face of traditional broadcasters. It has to be added that Joost has done itself few favours down the years with its dreadful P2P technologies and lack of USP and it’s at it again requiring registration before you can watch any video.
