TANDBERG Television is launching its next generation IP head-end infrastructure – the iSIS 8000 – into the European cable market at ANGA this week. This complete IP-based architecture is designed to enable cable operators to leverage IP technology both at the network core and in last mile TV delivery.

PMC-Sierra, Inc. today introduced the PM4380 Analog Front End (AFE) for VDSL2 and ADSL2+ Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). The highly integrated CMOS device is a stand-alone VDSL2 AFE, enabling Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to quickly bring to market VDSL2 modem or residential gateway products.
